About the role
GitLab is seeking a GTM Recruiter to help build the go-to-market teams that drive company growth. In this individual contributor position, you will partner with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Field Operations, Enablement, and Ecosystems. You will own searches from intake through close, building inclusive pipelines and using data to guide hiring decisions while growing into a trusted talent advisor.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle searches for roles such as Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success, ensuring accurate documentation in Greenhouse.
- Lead intake conversations to align hiring teams on role scope, territory, quota, and interview plans.
- Partner with hiring teams to conduct structured, equitable interviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Use talent-market research and compensation benchmarks to shape search strategy.
- Assess sales candidates based on track record, quota attainment, and deal complexity.
- Build research-based, diversity-focused sourcing plans that balance various applicant sources.
- Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience through proactive communication and clear offer negotiations.
- Improve recruiting practices by sharing learnings and using AI responsibly.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level recruiting experience with a track record of owning full-cycle searches independently.
- Sales or go-to-market recruiting experience, or a strong interest in learning sales segments, quotas, and OTE.
- Developing advisor skills, including building stakeholder trust and managing expectations.
- Experience building proactive, diversity-focused sourcing strategies.
- A data-informed approach that turns funnel insights into practical actions.
- Strong organization skills and clear communication across time zones.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems like Greenhouse and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Technology or B2B software recruiting experience is helpful but not required.
