About the role
Datadog is hiring a Customer Success Associate to manage strategic relationships with a high volume of commercial customers. You will focus on driving product adoption, ensuring successful usage, and identifying growth opportunities. This role involves acting as an internal advocate for the customer and providing a positive experience through a well-defined methodology. The position is based in Bangalore and operates on a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Identify target opportunities and manage the full sales cycle to build strategic relationships and focus on retention.
- Manage requests from your book of business, including technical support escalations, billing questions, and documentation needs.
- Adjust account management strategies based on specific customer requirements and needs.
- Act as an advisor to help customers leverage the Datadog solution effectively.
- Monitor usage trends to uncover renewal risks and support greater adoption rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as support, product, finance, and legal.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a customer account-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in independently negotiating contract terms and overcoming pricing objections for up-sell or cross-sell activities.
- A customer-minded approach with a strong desire to grow a career in Customer Success.
- Passion for building long-term and lasting relationships.
