About the role
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform that helps millions of businesses accept payments and grow their revenue. The Finance Operations (FinOps) team acts as the backbone of the company, using data and operational excellence to deliver core services like billing, payroll, and procurement.
This AR Analyst position is part of a growing team focused on monetization operations. You will help improve the user experience by ensuring accurate and timely onboarding of contracts and workflows. You will also work to deliver improvements in integrated financial systems alongside business partners, financial colleagues, and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Onboard sold custom contracts into billing systems with strong attention to detail.
- Build scalable and auditable onboarding processes for new and existing users.
- Partner with internal teams such as deal desk, legal, sales ops, and engineering to develop and improve processes.
- Work with account managers to resolve user inquiries related to onboarding, billing, and collections.
- Analyze current processes and implement changes to scale operations and improve user experience.
- Assist with system implementations for billing and collections, as well as internal and external audit support.
- Support monthly and quarterly flux analysis of key metrics and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant financial operations or billing experience, or 3+ years of customer service experience with a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently on complex investigations.
- Proficiency in gSuite tools, Salesforce, and MS-Office products.
- Experience working with contracts and analyzing large data sets.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a history of taking on challenging projects.
