About the role
Huko Advisory Services is seeking two experienced HVAC Technicians to join their team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficient problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Identify potential maintenance risks on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to team members.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including performing warranty services.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Trade test 1-3 certification.
- Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems according to HVAC protocols.
- Ability to read schematics and work plans.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work after hours, on weekends, and public holidays with short notice.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
