About the role
Westfield Consulting Limited is seeking a proactive and results-driven Human Resources Officer to join our team. Founded in 2012, we provide Human Resource and Strategic Management Services to clients across various sectors. In this hybrid role, you will support clients who outsource their HR activities to our firm. The position is full-time and based in Ikeja, Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Promote employee engagement and enforce company policies and workplace discipline.
- Manage probation reviews, employee confirmations, leave administration, and disciplinary processes.
- Coordinate staff training, induction programmes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and the staff nominal roll.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job advertising, CV screening, and onboarding.
- Coordinate performance management activities, including KPI administration and employee appraisals.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and leave records.
- Oversee the administration of both permanent and casual employees.
Requirements
- First Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- 2–3 years’ relevant HR experience in an HR Consulting firm is preferable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
