About the role
PPC Limited is a Nigerian-owned engineering and infrastructure development company. We are looking for a Human Resource Manager to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This is a full-time position with a monthly salary range of N500,000 to N550,000.
Responsibilities
- Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
- Advise departmental managers on personnel policies and programs.
- Maintain employee documentation, contracts, and HR records.
- Support the annual performance management cycle, including goal setting and appraisals.
- Process statutory certificates for NSITF, ITF, and PENCOM.
- Process monthly payroll accurately for all staff types.
- Prepare HR reports covering payroll, headcount, and turnover.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory contributions like pension and training levies.
- Support recruitment activities to fill vacancies within agreed timeframes.
- Drive the effective operation of the Group’s HRIS.
- Develop and implement labor relations policies.
Requirements
- Membership of CIPM, CIPD, and/or HRCI.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 5 years of relevant and progressive HR generalist experience.
- Practical experience with local labour laws and confidential payroll information.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
