About the role
Olam Agri is a global agri-business focused on food, feed, and fiber. We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Wheat Milling & Pasta business in Lagos. In this full-time position, you will partner with commercial and supply chain leaders to turn business goals into effective people strategies. You will support sales growth, logistics, and operational performance through proactive workforce planning and HR compliance.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to Commercial and Supply Chain leadership teams.
- Translate commercial priorities and supply chain objectives into practical HR initiatives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire high-quality FMCG talent for sales, logistics, and supply chain roles.
- Monitor manpower plans and critical vacancies to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure accurate execution of HR operations, including onboarding, payroll inputs, and system updates.
- Support change management initiatives, including restructuring and technology adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university; a specialization in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an added advantage.
- 6–10 years of progressive HR experience with strong business partnering exposure in FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Practical experience supporting commercial, field sales, or supply chain teams.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, talent planning, and HR operations.
- Ability to travel to business locations, depots, and warehouses as required.
