About the role
A Hospitality Company in Lagos is looking for an experienced and organized Housekeeping Manager. You will oversee housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort. This full-time position requires a blend of hands-on hotel knowledge and strong people management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee housekeeping for guest rooms, public areas, and designated facilities.
- Establish cleaning schedules, inspection routines, and consistent procedures.
- Supervise housekeeping attendants, laundry personnel, and assigned employees.
- Prepare duty rosters, coordinate shifts, and allocate daily workloads.
- Manage linen, towels, guest amenities, chemicals, and equipment storage.
- Coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor housekeeping costs and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene procedures.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant housekeeping experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Proven hotel housekeeping supervisory or management experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of room inspections, laundry operations, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems is an advantage.
