About the role
Midway Best Hotel is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead daily operations in Idimu, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on maintaining high service standards, managing staff, and ensuring the hotel runs efficiently and profitably. The role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering a comfortable experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across reception, housekeeping, kitchen, bar, and security departments.
- Monitor sales, income, expenses, and financial records to ensure accountability.
- Supervise staff performance, attendance, and adherence to hotel policies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and room presentation.
- Manage stock levels for food, drinks, and supplies to prevent waste and shortages.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop strategies to attract new customers and increase bookings.
- Prepare regular reports on hotel performance and financial status.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience in hotel management or a supervisory role in hospitality.
- A minimum of an OND or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in basic office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proven ability to manage staff and control operating costs.
