About the role
mDoc is a digital health startup focused on improving access to quality healthcare for people with chronic health needs in sub-Saharan Africa. We use behavioral science, data, and technology to help African consumers live longer, healthier, and more productive lives. As a Health Coach, you will be part of a team providing direct self-management support services to members through our innovative model.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct self-management support services to members via virtual and in-person channels.
- Follow evidence-based guidelines for care while contextualizing them to the specific needs of members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse or CHEW in health promotion or chronic illness management.
- Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, Health Education, Exercise Science, Nutrition, or Dietetics preferred.
- Basic Life Support skills are desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
