About the role
We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious professional to lead our technical operations in Ikeja, Lagos. As the Head of Technicians, you will provide direction for setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. You will oversee all Technicians, Electricians, and Engineers in the Lagos office, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical maintenance and daily inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform computer diagnostics on cooling units and generators.
- Supervise the technical team during mechanical and electrical emergencies.
- Manage the supply of diesel and oversee the installation of new equipment.
- Collate daily meter readings and calculate units used.
- Present technical department occurrences at weekly managerial meetings.
- Report directly to the CMD and Admin Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of previous experience as an Engineer.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Proficiency with electrical tools (e.g., voltmeters, wire strippers) and blueprints.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
