Responsibilities

  • Harmonise processes, systems, and policies across both factories, accounting for site-specific needs.
  • Manage supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance reviews for quality, price, delivery, and compliance.
  • Monitor polymer price trends, FX exposure, and import lead times to recommend hedging and stock-cover strategies.
  • Allocate production orders between the two factories to optimise capacity, cost, and delivery.
  • Lead the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, aligning sales forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Control raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory at both sites, maintaining accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure customs, import/export, and trade documentation compliance while optimising freight costs and route planning.
  • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, delivering cost-reduction and working capital targets.
  • Own the ERP supply chain module and drive the adoption of planning, inventory, and tracking tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • 12+ years in supply chain, including at least 5 years in a senior role in manufacturing, preferably in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG.
  • Professional certification such as CIPS, APICS (CSCP/CPIM), or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations and import-dependent raw material supply.
  • Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced analytical skills.
  • Skills in strategic thinking, negotiation, supplier relationship management, and data-driven decision-making.
