Excel and Grace Consulting is a fast-paced business consulting organization with over 18 years of experience serving small and medium-scale enterprises across Nigeria, Ghana, Germany, Switzerland, and Canada. We are certified by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (CMC-Global) and have authored over 20 books on business management and operations.
We are looking for a Head of Operations & Business Execution to join our team in Abuja (FCT). This full-time role reports directly to the Managing Director/CEO and focuses on coordinating operational activities across digital financial services, structured trade finance, and field operations.
Responsibilities
- Translate management priorities into actionable plans and establish efficient operating procedures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational performance reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and risks.
- Ensure onboarding, funding, deployment, and collection activities follow approved operational and risk procedures.
- Strengthen operational controls to prevent cash diversion, documentation gaps, and process breaches.
- Coordinate vendors, procurement, inventory, logistics, and service-level agreements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures, workflows, and operational reporting systems.
- Coordinate field teams, Cluster Agents, and Portfolio Growth Officers to support merchant onboarding and portfolio growth.
- Monitor digital transaction operations, payment settlements, and POS deployments in collaboration with Technology teams.
- Monitor collections, repayment processes, and overdue accounts with Finance and Risk teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant operational experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams, manage processes, and improve operational performance.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
- Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, logistics, or asset financing is an advantage.
- Strong planning, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
