About the role
A reputable Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is looking for an experienced Head of Logistics to lead its transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role is based in Mushin, Lagos, and offers a monthly salary of ₦400,000.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Develop strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
- Manage fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and transportation schedules.
- Supervise warehouse activities, inventory movement, and stock distribution.
- Monitor logistics expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with operational procedures.
- Coordinate logistics personnel and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong experience in fleet management, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage logistics teams and coordinate multiple operational activities.
- Previous experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- Must reside in Mushin, Lagos, or its surrounding environs.
