About the role
A reputable Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is looking for a detail-oriented Head of Finance. You will oversee financial operations, strengthen controls, and support strategic business decisions. This is a full-time position based in Mushin, Lagos, with a monthly salary of N600,000 – N650,000.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, financial planning, and reporting activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Manage cash flow and financial resources to ensure sustainability.
- Develop and implement financial policies and internal control systems.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend profitability improvements.
- Supervise the finance team and coordinate audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and financial management skills.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- Must reside in Mushin, Lagos, or its surrounding environs.
