About the role
TalentSquare is seeking a senior finance leader for a confidential client in Lagos. This full-time position focuses on strengthening investment, financing, and capital management capabilities. You will work closely with executive leadership to support strategic financial decisions, manage liquidity, and drive material financial initiatives to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities and portfolio initiatives.
- Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases.
- Assess asset value and identify opportunities for monetization or improved utilization.
- Develop capital structures and evaluate debt, equity, and asset-backed financing options.
- Oversee treasury processes, including cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and development finance institutions.
- Support preparation for potential capital markets activity and listing readiness.
- Provide executive leadership with insights on investment performance and financial risks.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
- Approximately eight or more years of professional experience in investments, corporate finance, investment banking, or treasury.
- Demonstrable experience in financial modelling, valuation, and capital structuring.
- Evidence of direct participation in significant financing or investment transactions.
- Strong analytical, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is advantageous.
