About the role
Casalavoro Limited is a fast-growing company with interests in Real Estate, Hospitality, Asset Management, and Agricultural Commodity Trading. We are looking for a creative and experienced Head Architect to lead the design direction for our major real estate and development projects. This senior-level position requires a professional with a strong portfolio and proven experience in high-quality architectural work. You will be responsible for translating concepts into outstanding designs that ensure functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the architectural design process for major real estate and development projects.
- Develop innovative, functional, and visually outstanding architectural concepts.
- Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and design documentation.
- Translate project briefs and client requirements into high-quality architectural solutions.
- Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction stages.
- Collaborate with the Head of Construction, Quantity Surveyors, Site Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards.
- Visit project sites to ensure design intent is properly implemented and review construction progress.
- Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance to the design team.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Professional registration with ARCON is highly preferred.
- 8–12 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in real estate, property development, or construction.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to major architectural projects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional architectural design capability.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, or Lumion.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
