About the role
Accor is seeking a Waiter/Waitress Intern to join the MGallery team at Alwadi Hotel Doha. As part of the Food & Beverage department, you will help deliver warm, personalized service that reflects the brand’s elegance. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a luxury boutique hotel setting while developing your hospitality skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage team with daily operations in restaurants, bars, and events.
- Support service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
- Prepare tables, mise-en-place, and service areas to brand standards.
- Greet guests and provide attentive service, handling requests with care.
- Learn and apply service standards, upselling techniques, and menu knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Follow proper handling of food, beverages, and equipment in line with hygiene standards.
- Support the team during events, themed nights, and special promotions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing studies in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Food & Beverage operations and guest service.
- Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and team spirit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
