About the role
Delivery Hero is looking for a Senior Specialist Fleet to join their team in Dubai. You will play a key part in managing last-mile logistics across the region. Your main goal is to ensure the fleet operates efficiently and meets high performance standards. You will also help introduce new tools and technologies to improve operations.
Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Provide hands-on assistance for last-mile implementations.
- KPI Management: Ensure the fleet meets targets for delivery speed, cancellation rates, unit economics, and star ratings.
- Team Leadership: Manage the team supporting riders and track daily performance metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement new tools and processes to boost efficiency.
- Reporting: Track progress and provide detailed reports to management, including ad-hoc requests.
- Planning: Plan store and region launches to ensure optimal supply.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with internal and external partners for peak periods and driver supply.
- 3PL Management: Work with third-party logistics providers to ensure driver performance meets company standards.
- Mentoring: Support and guide new team members.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in fleet roles, including at least 2 years in fleet management.
- Skills: Proven experience managing driver fleets or logistics teams.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
- Knowledge: Strong commercial awareness and familiarity with lean economics.
