About the role
instashop, a leading online marketplace in the UAE and Egypt and part of the Delivery Hero family, is seeking a Specialist in Operations Training & Onboarding. Based in Dubai, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery and execution of onboarding and training programs. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that new and existing members of the rider, picker, and operational teams are fully prepared to perform effectively in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of onboarding programs for riders, pickers, and operational teams, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training and deployment requirements.
- Deliver onboarding, refresher, and operational training sessions in accordance with approved plans, SOPs, and business needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training materials, attendance, assessments, and certifications.
- Monitor trainee performance to identify knowledge or skill gaps, escalating recurring issues and supporting targeted coaching or retraining.
- Track training completion and post-training performance, providing regular updates and insights to Specialist and Operations teams.
- Support training improvement initiatives, including employee engagement activities, feedback collection, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Training, L&D, or related functions within operations, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi/Urdu, both verbal and written.
- Experience with e-learning platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- An innovative approach to developing engaging training programs and evaluating their effectiveness.
