About the role

As a Guest Relations Hostess/Host, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt attention. This full-time position requires a professional who can build rapport quickly and deliver iconic moments for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests, especially VIPs and repeat visitors, receive special recognition and consistent benefits from arrival through departure.
- VIP Coordination: Meet and greet VIPs personally and liaise with the Concierge team for events, promotions, and special requests.
- Preparation: Prepare guest compendiums, update check-in systems, and send welcome cards and amenities to rooms prior to arrival.
- Communication: Maintain close contact with the Concierge for new arrivals and departures, and keep the repeat guest history system accurate.
- Service Delivery: Handle special requests and complaints professionally, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Team Support: Train and mentor junior staff, participate in team meetings, and document guest feedback for management.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Guest Relations, preferably in a four or five-star hotel.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written English; multilingual abilities are highly preferred.
- Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Technical: Proficiency with hospitality management systems and basic computer applications.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
