About the role
Accor is bringing the iconic Delano brand to the UAE for the first time. Located on Bluewaters Island, Delano Dubai will feature luxury accommodations, four dining venues, and an oceanfront pool. As a Guest Experience Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest has a memorable stay by proactively anticipating their needs and leading efforts to exceed expectations. You will work closely with various hotel departments to deliver personalized, high-quality services from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Monitor guest feedback through surveys and direct interaction to identify areas for improvement.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
- Supervise and train the Guest Experience team on hospitality standards and customer service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for VIP and repeat guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
- Develop loyalty programs and track guest preferences to encourage return visits.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to uphold luxury standards.
- Support People & Culture initiatives, including recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or guest services.
- At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
- Ability to remain calm and multitask effectively in high-pressure situations.
