About the role
Fairmont Dubai, a landmark property in the heart of the city, is seeking a dedicated Electrician to support its engineering team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of electrical and mechanical systems. This is a full-time position that values precision, safety, and a commitment to luxury service standards.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and install electrical systems in line with departmental procedures.
- Perform maintenance on control panels and troubleshoot control circuits.
- Install wiring, trunking, and various wiring accessories.
- Maintain HVAC equipment, including chillers, freezers, split units, AHUs, fan coils, and cold rooms.
- Handle kitchen equipment repairs, with BMS exposure being an added advantage.
- Complete all maintenance requests in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of schooling certificate in the Electrical Trade.
- At least two years of experience in a similar position with a valid trade certificate.
- Strong knowledge and skills in electrical systems, AC air handling units, PLC, and BMS.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and the use of test equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as frequent standing, walking, lifting, and climbing ladders.
