About the role
Accor is seeking a Director, Spa to lead the wellness division at Fairmont The Palm, a luxury resort on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. You will oversee the Serenity Spa, ensuring it remains a global benchmark in luxury wellness. This position requires a strategic leader who can drive business growth while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Develop strategies to maximize revenue and manage daily activities, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory.
- Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service by addressing feedback promptly and fostering a culture of personalized care.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise spa professionals, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Financial Management: Manage the spa budget, monitor expenses, and implement revenue management strategies to meet financial targets.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop promotional packages and stay updated with industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within spa management.
- Strong understanding of spa operations, treatment protocols, and retail sales.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen, including budget development and revenue growth analysis.
