About the role
Join the team at 25hours Hotel One Central, located near the Dubai International Financial Center with a view of the Museum of the Future. This hotel reinterprets Bedouin traditions in a contemporary setting. As a Bartender, you will be part of a colorful, diverse, and professional team that values a friendly and informal culture. You will help create memorable experiences for guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Identify guest needs, provide bar services, and offer knowledgeable recommendations and upselling.
- Drink Preparation: Mix cocktails and prepare beverages according to defined recipes and standards.
- Operations: Follow departmental policies, SOPs, and health and safety procedures to ensure consistent quality.
- Bar Management: Set up the bar, manage inventory, check expiration dates, and ensure proper storage of perishables.
- Cash Handling: Process, register, and settle all drink transactions accurately.
- Cleanliness: Perform opening and closing tasks, coordinate with stewards for hygiene, and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Responsible Service: Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years as a Bartender in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar, or high-end restaurant.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service standards.
- Skills: Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and managing guest requests or complaints.
- Soft Skills: Friendly, confident personality; reliable, organized, and able to remain calm during busy periods.
- Teamwork: A hands-on mentality and positive attitude towards supporting team goals.
- Language: Confident communication in English.
