About the role
Accor is seeking a Barista to join the team at Raffles & Fairmont Doha, located in the iconic Katara Towers. This position focuses on preparing premium coffee and tea while delivering the personalized, five-star service expected by these luxury brands.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, and teas according to established recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest requests or complaints professionally.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the coffee station.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish supplies, and report any stock shortages.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Coordinate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and espresso machines.
- Excellent communication skills and a good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
