About the role
Join Delivery Hero (Talabat) in Dubai as an Assistant Distribution Center. You will support warehouse operations by operating material handling equipment and managing stock. This full-time position is part of a global delivery platform operating in around 65 countries.
Responsibilities
- Operate MHE such as VNA, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Forklift, and Pallet Loader safely.
- Load, unload, and move pallets within the warehouse and staging areas.
- Support inbound and outbound operations, including put-away, picking, replenishment, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate stock placement according to the warehouse location system.
- Assist with order picking and pallet building based on system instructions.
- Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and equipment guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operational checks of equipment and report defects immediately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
- Use PPE at all times as per company policy.
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory checks when required.
- Ensure correct SKU, quantity, and batch handling during operations.
- Minimize damages and report any discrepancies or product issues.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in warehousing and distribution centers.
- Valid driving license in the UAE.
- Hands-on experience operating VNA, Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Pallet Loader.
- Valid MHE / Forklift Operator License or Certification.
- Good understanding of warehouse layouts and racking systems.
- Good communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Good knowledge of inventory management.
- Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Good English language skills.
