About the role
Musada Hotels and Luxury Suites is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Abuja. We are looking for a dedicated Guest Relations Officer to join our team and provide top-notch hospitality services. This is a full-time position based in Abuja (FCT).
Responsibilities
- Review arrival lists to welcome guests and attend to special guests, including VIPs.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local areas, and venues while promoting our services.
- Anticipate guest needs, build rapport, and offer assistance with tasks such as confirming travel arrangements.
- Address customer complaints politely, resolve them within your authority, or escalate when necessary.
- Prepare for VIP and returning-guest arrivals with room checks, welcome amenities, and personalised notes.
- Collect feedback through conversations, comment cards, and surveys, and report recurring issues to management.
- Liaise with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance, and Security teams.
- Keep accurate and confidential records of complaints, guest preferences, and reports.
Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel, guest relations, front office, or customer service role.
- Working knowledge of hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
