About the role
AY Homes is seeking a General Manager – Real Estate to lead our real estate function in Lekki, Lagos. This full-time position involves overseeing property developments, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The company offers a buyback scheme for investors, providing a predictable return on investment.
Responsibilities
- Collect rent and pay expenses in compliance with lease terms.
- Manage the transaction process, including property due diligence and legal documentation negotiation.
- Mentor and coach team members to develop their competencies.
- Monitor the work order system and follow up on all calls.
- Locate and acquire new properties to meet client requirements and timelines.
- Ensure files, production orders, and workflows comply with all regulations.
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports.
- Lead, build, and manage the real estate, design, and construction functions.
- Ensure adherence to customer and bank guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
