About the role
Dangote Industries Limited is recruiting a General Manager, Production to lead operations in Lagos. This role focuses on ensuring the plant runs at optimal capacity while producing high-quality clinker and cement. You will drive revenue growth for Dangote Cement Plc through efficient production management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cement kiln lining repairs, raw and cement mill operations, and packaging systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for planned production line shutdowns.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend improvements to the Deputy Plant Director.
- Lead the production team to meet daily targets within quality, budget, and time constraints.
- Develop and implement production strategies and annual budgets.
- Prepare production reports to support leadership decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years in a management position.
- Strong knowledge of the local and international cement industry.
- Excellent supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills.
