About the role
Our client, a reputable organization with interests in the Luxury Automobile, Real Estate, and Hospitality sectors, is seeking a General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership. You will ensure profitability, effective resource management, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth across all locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies, growth plans, and operational policies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee daily operations across all business units and branches, ensuring efficient service delivery and coordination between Port Harcourt and Lagos locations.
- Manage budgets, revenue generation, expenditure, cash flow, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
- Lead departmental heads, establish performance targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure accountability.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth across luxury automobile, real estate, and hospitality sectors.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
- 15 – 20 years of cognate experience in general management, business operations, or strategic leadership, preferably overseeing multiple business units.
- Proven experience managing business operations in the luxury automobile sector, particularly vehicle sales, servicing, and customer relationship management.
- Strong expertise in business strategy, financial management, budgeting, operational performance, and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior managers, oversee multiple locations, manage cross-functional teams, and drive organizational performance.
