About the role
A reputable Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead its operations in Mushin, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on driving growth and ensuring efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for daily operations.
- Develop strategies to improve profitability and productivity.
- Oversee key departments such as sales, logistics, finance, and administration.
- Set performance targets and align departmental goals with business objectives.
- Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage resources and control operational costs.
- Supervise departmental heads and promote accountability.
- Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ management experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven experience leading multiple departments and managing business operations.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of financial management and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must reside in Mushin, Lagos, or its surrounding environs.
