About the role
Dolly and Bob Great Minds International School is seeking a dedicated Further Mathematics Teacher to join its team in Onna, Akwa Ibom. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Further Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach advanced topics such as calculus, algebra, mechanics, and statistics.
- Develop students’ analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and examination questions.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Identify learning difficulties and offer additional academic support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and accurate academic records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.Ed./B.A.) or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Teaching qualification or TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans and deliver effective lessons.
- Good interpersonal skills, patience, and passion for working with children.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
