About the role
Myrtle Management Consultants Limited is recruiting on behalf of a client in the hospitality industry. The client operates a short-stay apartment business and is looking for a Front Desk Executive – Sales to join their team in Abuja.
Responsibilities
- Guest Reception and Customer Service: Welcome guests, handle enquiries, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience. Address guest requests and complaints promptly.
- Sales and Reservations Management: Communicate availability and rates, follow up with prospective guests, and manage reservations. Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and social media.
- Marketing and Business Development: Promote the apartment through various channels, identify opportunities to increase occupancy, and encourage repeat bookings.
- Front Desk Administration: Maintain accurate records of reservations and payments, prepare daily reports, and keep the front desk environment organized.
- Payment and Operational Coordination: Process guest payments, issue confirmations, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Client Relationship Management: Educate guests on policies, encourage positive reviews, and build strong relationships with customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk operations, sales, customer service, or hospitality.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems, Microsoft Office, and online communication platforms.
- Experience in hotel, serviced apartment, or short-stay apartment operations is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills, professional appearance, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
