About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a Fragrance Consultant to join their team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on guiding clients through personalized fragrance consultations. You will help clients discover scents that align with their personal style by sharing the heritage and vision behind each perfume house. The role requires a deep understanding of luxury service and the ability to build lasting relationships with high-value clients.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients through personalized fragrance consultations in-store and by appointment.
- Use storytelling to bring each scent to life, covering origins, notes, and ingredients.
- Build and nurture a loyal clientele through follow-ups, private previews, and client records.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets.
- Maintain expert knowledge of fragrance houses, new launches, and the niche perfumery landscape.
- Present fragrance testers and the space to an impeccable standard.
- Support launches, events, and brand activations.
- Collaborate with the styling team to enhance the client experience.
Requirements
- OND or HND qualification.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in luxury or niche fragrance.
- Strong understanding of olfactory families, notes, and fragrance structure.
- Natural storytelling ability that is warm and evocative.
- Proven track record of building and retaining high-value clients.
- Polished presentation and a strong instinct for luxury service.
- Confidence using WhatsApp and social media for client relationships.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
