About the role
Infytel Communications Limited is seeking a Food Scientist and Quality Analyst to join their team in Lagos. This full-time, on-site position focuses on ensuring that food products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards through routine testing, inspection, and quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and quality assessments on raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor food processing operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to food hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
- Inspect products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate laboratory results, quality reports, and documentation.
- Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support food safety audits and regulatory compliance activities.
Requirements
- B.Sc., HND, or OND in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality control procedures.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
