About the role
Prestigious Consulting Group is looking for a commercially minded professional to lead food manufacturing and product development projects. In this full-time role based in Lagos, you will combine hands-on manufacturing experience with financial analysis and business development skills. Your goal is to assess project viability, support commercialisation, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project budgets, production costs, pricing, and commercial viability.
- Develop sales strategies, acquire clients, and build strategic partnerships.
- Manage food manufacturing and product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
- Provide consulting support on food processing, manufacturing feasibility, and operational improvements.
- Prepare feasibility reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations for management.
- Coordinate formulation, pilot production, scale-up, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify funding sources and support the preparation of business plans and investment presentations.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products and market expansion.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or product development.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of food manufacturing processes, NAFDAC requirements, GMP, and HACCP.
- Hands-on experience working in a food manufacturing facility or food processing company.
- Experience in sales, business development, client engagement, or revenue generation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret project financials, assess commercial viability, and understand funding requirements.
- Consulting, business advisory, or commercial strategy experience is an advantage.
