The Finance Manager will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This role requires a hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who can independently manage financial processes and ensure that financial information is complete and reliable for management decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, tracking, and collections management.
- Prepare and update accounts receivable ageing reports to highlight overdue balances and collection risks.
- Perform and oversee regular bank, customer, supplier, general ledger, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts within the approved reporting timeline.
- Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and other relevant financial statements.
- Analyze financial performance across business units and identify significant variances or emerging risks.
- Provide regular reports on collections, outstanding receivables, and expected inflows to support cash flow planning.
Requirements
- Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling is an added advantage.
- Ability to independently manage financial processes and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
