About the role
Kanselor Business Innovation Campus is recruiting a Finance Manager for a client in the FMCG sector. This full-time position is based in Mushin, Lagos. The role focuses on leading financial management functions, providing strategic insights, and supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Drive cost management and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Support senior management in financial decision-making and strategic planning.
- Review financial transactions, expenses, and revenue to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and review timely financial reports for management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor financial activities across company outlets.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
- Lead and mentor the Finance/Accounts team.
- Develop financial models and monitor cash flow and working capital.
Requirements
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is required.
- B.Sc, M.Sc, or MBA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and internal controls.
- Strong FMCG experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
