About the role
Beta Glass, part of the Frigoglass Group, is a key supplier of glass packaging to beverage bottlers in West and Central Africa. We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our financial and accounting operations in Agbara, Ogun. This role ensures compliance with international and group standards while supporting operational efficiency through effective IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial activities to ensure compliance with legal regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate the annual budget proposal and monitor plant results to propose corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly reports to provide accurate financial analysis for management decision-making.
- Review trial balances and troubleshoot account codes in the ledger to minimize posting errors.
- Create new account codes in Navision to ensure proper classification and consistency.
- Oversee the IT department to ensure reliable system operation and technical support for users.
- Identify training needs and support employee development through targeted programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and accountability.
