About the role
Janchine Nigeria Limited is seeking a Finance Executive to lead and manage the company’s finance functions. This full-time position is based in Lekki, Lagos. The role involves ensuring the integrity of financial records, managing treasury and cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective accounts payable and receivable systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and board reports.
- Prepare the company’s annual budget and support periodic reviews and forecasts.
- Manage statutory tax accounts, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and PAYE.
- Invest surplus funds in approved instruments to ensure optimal returns and liquidity.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee all banking transactions.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, pension regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or CPA) is mandatory.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, treasury, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, and relevant financial regulations.
