Avetium Consult is a Business Process Outsourcing and Technology solution company based in Nigeria. We bring together experts from diverse fields to deliver transformational solutions. We are currently seeking a Finance and Operations Officer to join our team in Lagos on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily transaction records, ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist in planning, monitoring, and overseeing departmental and company-wide budgets to prevent overspending.
- Perform bank reconciliations, track cash flow, and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Support internal and external audits, manage tax documentation, and enforce financial regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing, employee expense claims, and vendor payments.
- Evaluate operational workflows and develop policies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor operational costs, profit margins, and inventory or resource allocation.
- Maintain positive relationships with external suppliers, banks, auditors, and service providers.
- Assist with human resources administration, onboarding, policy enforcement, and record-keeping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or operations management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance, operations, or accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Good communication skills.
