About the role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a dedicated Field Sales Officer to join their client, a reputable organization in the Climate Technology sector. This full-time position focuses on driving the sales of solar energy products within a specific territory. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, developing strong business relationships, and consistently meeting monthly sales targets. The role offers a net monthly salary of ₦200,000 plus commission.
Responsibilities
- Drive the sales of solar energy products within your assigned territory and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, direct marketing, referrals, and other sales channels.
- Recruit and manage sales agents, build relationships with merchants, and support merchant onboarding to expand the company’s sales network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, following up on leads to convert opportunities into sales.
- Monitor market activities, provide feedback on customer needs and competitor trends, and collaborate with the sales team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, consumer electronics, fintech, or related industries.
- Experience in agent management, agent recruitment, merchant onboarding, or other agent- and merchant-facing roles is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets, develop customer relationships, and expand agent or merchant networks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) sales model is an added advantage.
