About the role
Electro-Sun Global Services Limited is an engineer-founded solar energy firm in Nigeria. As an authorized distributor for major brands like Deye, Sungrow, and LONGi, the company provides premium hybrid and off-grid solar solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We are currently seeking four Field Marketing Officers to join our team in Abuja (FCT), Port Harcourt, Kano, and Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Identify potential customers and build relationships with businesses, project developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead Generation: Generate qualified sales leads and follow up with prospective customers to drive product enquiries and purchases.
- Product Promotion: Promote Electro-Sun’s product offerings, including Sungrow inverters and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Field Activities: Conduct physical marketing visits to solar companies, EPC contractors, installers, and electrical equipment dealers.
- Reporting: Submit regular reports on field activities, leads generated, customer feedback, and market developments.
- Market Intelligence: Gather information on customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and market opportunities.
- Coordination: Work with the internal sales team to follow up on leads, prepare quotations, and facilitate sales conversions.
Requirements
- Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
- Experience: Previous experience in field sales, direct marketing, business development, or customer acquisition. Experience in the solar energy, electrical equipment, or renewable energy sector is an added advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- Technical: Basic computer skills and proficiency in using smartphones, WhatsApp, and other communication tools.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently, meet targets, and deliver results. Willingness to travel within assigned locations.
