About the role
Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited, established in 1981, specializes in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and steel structures. They are looking for a dedicated Female Procurement Officer to support their operations in Ilupeju, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in managing purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and related party companies.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, including contracting suppliers and managing orders.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Conduct stock counts and make necessary adjustments.
- Estimate costs and establish budgets for purchases.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Update the list of suppliers, including their qualifications and delivery times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete duties as needed.
- Develop plans for purchasing materials, services, and supplies.
- Search for new suppliers to secure the best rates for required items.
Requirements
- Females are highly appreciated for this role to promote gender balance.
- Proximity to the Oshodi/Ilupeju axis of Lagos State is an added advantage.
