About the role
Sayed Farms Limited is a specialized poultry and frozen food distributor in Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced Farm Foreman to join our Poultry Farm Operations department in Ibadan, Oyo. This full-time position focuses on supporting daily operations across our breeder or broiler farms.
Responsibilities
- Supervise farm attendants and coordinate daily activities such as feeding, watering, and litter management.
- Monitor bird health, behavior, mortality, feed intake, and water consumption.
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity, hygiene, and disease-prevention practices.
- Maintain optimal environmental conditions including temperature, ventilation, lighting, and humidity.
- Implement vaccination and medication programs as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Maintain accurate records of flock performance, mortality, and daily farm activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in poultry farm operations, preferably in breeder or broiler production.
- Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- Practical knowledge of poultry management, bird health monitoring, and biosecurity.
- Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site according to farm operational schedules.
