About the role
KannyVic Enterprise Consult, a fast-growing agribusiness and climate-smart infrastructure company, is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Farm Administrative Officer. This full-time position is based in Abuja (FCT). You will support the effective administration and day-to-day operations of the farm by maintaining accurate records, coordinating activities, and providing reliable data to the Farm Manager and Management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of farm workers’ attendance, leave, overtime, and daily activities.
- Coordinate administrative activities at the farm and ensure proper documentation of farm operations.
- Collect, organise, and analyse farm and workforce data for management reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly farm administrative reports.
- Maintain records of farm inputs, materials, equipment, fuel, tools, and other resources.
- Monitor and reconcile records relating to farm supplies and resource usage.
- Support the Farm Manager and supervisors with administrative and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate communication between farm management, field supervisors, workers, HR, and the head office.
- Maintain employee and farm documentation and ensure records are properly filed and updated.
- Monitor staff welfare, accommodation, transportation, and other administrative needs at the farm.
- Assist with procurement requests, logistics, inventory records, and general farm administration.
- Identify discrepancies or gaps in records and follow up with relevant supervisors for resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of company and employee information.
- Support other administrative activities required for the smooth operation of the farm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ relevant experience in administration, data analysis, farm administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, charts, and data validation.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting will be an added advantage.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in data.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with field workers and supervisors.
- Must be comfortable working in a farm/field environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours during critical farming activities when required.
