About the role
Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning services in the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a Facility Technical Supervisor to ensure the operational integrity, reliability, and safety of all facility systems and equipment in Port Harcourt.
Responsibilities
- Carry out and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for facility equipment and systems.
- Respond to facility breakdowns and technical emergencies within agreed response times.
- Supervise contractors and vendors carrying out technical works.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Monitor utility consumption and highlight abnormal usage.
- Prepare maintenance, inspection, and work completion reports.
- Ensure contractors comply with approved HSE requirements and site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related course.
- 5 – 8 years of hands-on experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, or Engineering Operations.
- Practical exposure to mechanical equipment, HVAC, generators, electrical systems, and fire safety installations.
- Experience in managing contractors/vendors is an advantage.
- Background in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or commercial buildings is an added advantage.
