About the role
Eko Maintenance Limited is seeking a dedicated Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Technician to join our technical maintenance team. We provide services to the construction and real estate sectors, covering infrastructure and intelligent building systems. This full-time position is based in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair security and communication systems.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain ELV systems and equipment.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in ELV installations.
- Prepare maintenance reports and document completed tasks.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and facility managers.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience as an ELV Technician.
- HND, B.Sc, B.Eng, or relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV surveillance systems.
- Knowledge of access control, biometric systems, and door entry systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
