About the role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Muritala Muhammed International Airport. We offer a quiet and relaxing environment with stylish rooms, a rooftop bar, and a suspended swimming pool. We are looking for a professional and courteous Waiter or Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team. You will report to the Restaurant Supervisor or Food & Beverage Manager and help ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
- Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
- Set up and clear tables before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff for smooth operations.
- Assist with banquet, conference, and special event services when required.
- Report guest complaints or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good personal grooming and professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
